What Causes Shortness Of Breath Along With Dizziness?

Hi, I am a 65 year old male. 25 pounds overweight. However I am in the gym for one hour every other day and have done so for many years. I have CHRONIC shortness of breath. My cardiologist put me through a lot of tests and has ruled out the heart. I also have chronic light headed dizziness and I stumble a little when I walk and i struggle with fatigue? My left carotid is 70% blocked and my right is 60% blocked. Thanks, Ron M.

Hi,

This has to do with heart problem. The blockage of the your blood vessels is the root cause of the your illness of shortness of breath. Confirm if its carotid or coronaries vessels. They will all lead to same symptoms but the approach to their treatment is different. Check your heart more keenly, Fat levels -cholesterol- and cardiac enzymes. Oxygen concentration and chest x ray may be useful tests.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
