What Causes Shortness Of Breath Along With Severe Fatigue And Chest Pain?
I am 43 female all of a sudden I got shortness of breath that never goes away, extreme fatigue, my lungs hurt like they ve been beat up. Hurt a little more with deep breath. Low grade fever. Chest pain. Cardiologist ruled out heart and had referred me to pulmonary Dr and questions I should ask or ideas what could be wrong also breathing gets worse at night

Sudden onset shortness of breath may be due to
1. An acute episode of asthma.
2. Acute exacerbation of COPD.
3. Infection.
4. Pulmonary embolism.
5. Pneumothorax.
