What Causes Shortness Of Breath And Bibasilar Atelectasis?

I am a 33 m which was is in the hospital 2 months ago. I am looking at the medical reports from my hospitalization. I found some results that i am confused on. Mild bibasilar atelectasis. Looking the meaning up, i found it to be possible scaring or closing of the bottom of the lungs. Now the doctors said nothing to me about this. I have had issues before this with loosing my breath during minimal exertion and have had multiple bouts of pneumonia. Is this something i need to speak to my dr about and do i need to be worried about this?
