Hi,
According to what you have mentioned, you probably have a
mitral valve prolapse. It is not really worrying, a lot of people have it and they do not even know it. The symptoms you mention are attributable to that and
anxiety, both, however, as I told you and have told you is not to worry.
I know it is hard to say when you are not the person who suffers the symptoms, but already done an electrocardiogram and an
echocardiogram evaluated by a cardiologist do not have to worry. Your problem is attributed more to anxiety, which must be treated, not by a cardiologist, but by a
psychiatrist who is responsible for treating this pathology.
What I can tell you is that every time you present the symptoms, try to calm down, take a glass of water, breathe deeply, count to 30 and it will pass.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Luis Alberto Urdaneta Arenas
