I was very sick about 3 weeks ago. I still have a real hard time breathing, shortness of breath. Sometimes a cough associated with it but maybe only 20% of the time. The rest of the time it is very difficult to breath. I have to keep my head and throat a certain way to feel that I can breath somewhat correctly.
hi, difficulty in breathing in respiratory infection is usually due to narrowing of bronchial lumen either due to its blockage by cough production or stimulation of bronchial musscle that narrow down lumen diameter. in your condition you reruire complete removal of cough by treatment (antibiotic and other cough expecorant)and may also require bronchial relaxants.
