General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello
As you mentioned that there shortness of breath and recurrent infection .
These symptoms resolves and returns , even without medicine ( however , you didn't mention about this ,but assumed ).
I want to tell you that these symptoms may be in a patient with HIV but these don't resolve itself .
Why , are you having HIV , when there is no history of contract .
Shortness of breath and sore throat ( means recurrent infections ) may be due to allergic bronchitis , so consult a physician and get his opinion about allergy and also infection.
Since you are in tremendous pressure so get in rapid nucleic acid amplification test ( pcr , rna ) P24 for HIV confirmation , if there is any history of contract , if no history , need not to get test.
So consultation with a physician will be fruitful for you.
Good luck.
