General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. Your problem can be most likely due to GERD (Gastroesophageal reflux). For such condition I would recommend taking proton pump inhibitors like esomeprazole ( Nexium ) and motility enhancers like domperidone for 2 weeks. Avoid spicy, fatty, greasy, fried and junk foods. Carbonated drinks and coffee should be avoided also. Have food at least two hours before bed time. Raise the head end with extra pillows while sleeping. These all measures will be helpful.

Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
