What Causes Shortness Of Breath And Heart Palpitations?
I am having shortness of breath and palpitations and funny feeling in my head like I may pass out. I went to emergency room and all lab work was normal including D-dimer. EKG was normal. Chest xray was normal. Was told to following up with a cardiologist. What is the likely hood that I have coronary artery disease? or what do you think may be going on? I m a 62 year old white male, 5 11, 227 lbs. Thanks for your time in this request.

Shortness of breath can be a sign of coronary heart problem(needs stress test on trade mill to specify)or chronic lung disease with affection of hearr Carpulmknale ( needs CBC, lung function tests ,x-ray chest to specify)
For home care you can take Rest, light nutrition, sufficient of water, Tab.derriphylline over the counter.
