What Causes Shortness Of Breath And Swelling In The Tongue?

Hello, I have had difficulty catching my breath and feeling like I have to yawn to get enough air for 2 weeks now. I went to the ER they did blood work and it came back normal but this feeling has not gone away it has worsened. My tongue and my throat look very strange but they do not hurt they just look swollen. I am getting mucus when I swallow and I have to swallow hard for it to pass. I was vaping e cigarettes and I think it may have something to do with it. I stopped almost a week ago and my symptoms have not gotten better. I am worried as I can t breath like normal and swallowing is getting difficult. Thank you Stefanie

You have problem of difficulty in swallowing with swelling in tongue and throat that may be because of space infection like Ludwig angina or other reasons.
Clinical examination of oral cavity and throat give exact idea about problems.
Treat underling cause.
Consult a physician for clinical examination and treatment plan.
