General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The shortness of breath, tachycardia with x-ray suggestive of density upper lobe of lung after thoracic outlet surgery reveals the pneumonic consolidation of infective origin, hematoma, pulmonary embolism or others. The precise diagnosis would be requiring an X-ray chest on initial basis followed by CT scan with or without contrast as per the clinical evaluation and X-ray findings.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
