What Causes Shortness Of Breath And Vocal Cord Paralysis?
Hi..I have been unable to get a diagnosis for over a year..I have a high ck level..981..with abnormal protein in spinal tap..muscle loss, shortness of breath and a paralyzed vocal cord..currently receiving steroid infusions for ck..but no solid diagnosis..p what are possible causes
The presence of an abnormal protein in cerebro-spinal fluid (spinal tap) is suggesting problem with central nervous system. High CK of 981 is indicating muscle damage. This muscle damage is causing shortness of breath, paralyzed vocal cord.
I should analyse the tests reports myself in order to determine if there is a tumor or any other rare disease present.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
All the best.
Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
