General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello! Welcome to HealthcareMagic!

I read your query and I understand your concern. You are suffering from bronchial asthma. The antibiotic Doxycycline don't help and neither does Mucinex. Try to use inhaled corticosteroids, long-acting bronchodilators (beta-agonists and anti-cholinergics), theophylline. Relief medications include short-acting bronchodilators, systemic corticosteroid and a Ipratropium.

Hope my answer was helpful. If yes, vote helpful.

Take care
