What Causes Shortness Of Breath In A COPD Patient?
I am a 67 year old female who has Copd. I am recovering from a recent flare up and have just finished a script for 250 pac and 5 20 mg prednisone pills. I use Symbicort 2 x a day and occasionally use a nebulizer with albuterol when needed. Problem is I can t seem to catch me breath. What should I do?
If you are still having shortness of breath, it is possible that the infection has not resolved completely and you may need another course of antibiotics and steroids.
You would need to see your doctor for review to determine this. You would also need to use the albuterol to help relieve any closure of the airways.
I hope this helps
