hi I feel like I have to take a deep breath when I breethe, went to er cause I had a little chest pain when I took deep breath, but ekg, blood work and cxr were all negative. I feel like I have a little cold in my chest but I m worried about a pulmonary embolism

Hello and welcome to ask a doctor service. I reviewed your query and here is my answer. As you said your ekg, blood work, cxr all came normal so there is no need to worry about. And you haven't got pulmonary embolism just relax your self. Shortness of breath may be due to your anxiety at that time or some other cause as it has got alot of causes.
