What Causes Shoulder And Arm Pain After Taking Crestor And Metformin?

I ate caviar , salmon , and avocado , and felt chest pain for two days with headache.I then started taking 2*10 mg Crestor , one in the morning,one in the evening alomg Metformin, and other GI tract drugs, and felt pain in my shoulders and arms, especially after eating even when chest pain went away.I am 51 ,112kgs ,1.56 meters with total cholesterol 225 , and LDL 157.Is it the heart or Crestor?

Hello,

The shoulder and arm pain after eating is indicating possible heart problem. However, we should rule out stomach and gallbladder issues too. To me, your cholesterol level of 225 if fine, and there is no need to continue taking Crestor. Metformin should be used as per your blood sugar levels. Discuss with your caring doctor as soon as possible to run further diagnostic tests to rule out cardiovascular and stomach issues.
