General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I don't think this is related to a viral infection. I believe it can be a side effect of the surgery possible hyperacidity or heartburn.

Also nausea can be related to rapid bypass of the food. I can advise you to eat small meals frequently, avoid high acidity food and sweetened beverages.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Olgeta Xhufka , General & Family Physician
