What Causes Shoulder Pain Along With Fever?

I recently had triple bypass surgery on January 10th. Recently I have been experience shoulder pain in both shoulders and having a temperature around 100. The pain in my shoulder is around the joint and then it radiates through my shoulder blade to my neck and then down my arm to my elbow. I have never had any pain like this before and not sure why I would also be running a fever when it hurts. The fever comes after my shoulder begins to hurt.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Shoulder pain radiating to shoulder blades which may be due to cervical radiculopathy, cervical spondylosis, muscle spasm, viral fever or myalgia. Until the examination is done it is difficult to say what it is.

Use tablet Paracetamol thrice a day for five days. If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
