What Causes Shoulder Pain And Swelling In The Clavicle Muscle?
Yes, thank you. My girlfriend just experienced a pain in her shoulder accompanied by a radical swelling in a muscle along her clavicle. Ice brought the swelling down quite a bit and she has normal range of motion. It feels like a badly pulled muscle now but she is wondering if she should go to an urgent care facility to get it checked out. Any ideas on what it could be?

If it is a pulled muscle, then she need not worry much. It needs some time for the muscle to get relieved from spasm.
You need to give her painkiller for the time being if the pain is more.
