I am a 26 year old male who is very active. I weight train 5 days a week religiously. During a chest exercise I was doing incline dumbbell press with 90lbs dumbbells and felt a discomfort in my left shoulder. I continued to finish my workout without any major concerns. That night while sleeping I would roll over and get extreme pain in my shoulder. 3 days later still very tender and when I move it certain ways I feel sharp pain. Any thoughts and our suggestions? In the past I would pay $50 to see my doctor when I injured my shoulder all they would say is tell me exercises to do to strengthen the possible tear. I need a quick fix!
