What Causes Shoulder Tip Pain While Having An Ectopic Pregnancy?
hi, i have been told by the doctors at hospital i am having an ectopic pregnancy (its been on-going for 5weeks now) they told me that if i had any symptoms to go to hospital, shoulder tip pain being one of them. in the past 20mins ive had a dull aching pain in my shoulder (same side as ive had most of the abdominal pains and fluid on my ovary) what does the shoulder tip pain feel like and could this be it? should i go to hospital? thank you
hi..... your query regarding cause of shoulder tip pain is since you have diagnosed ectopic pregnancy in your tube ...do you have taken any medical treatment ? and waiting for resolution of the same? because at any point of time. if ectopic pregnancy bursts. there wud be free fluid in abdomen... it can irritate the undersurface of diaphragm and cause shoulder tip pain .... your nature of pain .. is it sudden and at tip of shoulder... ??? so yours seems nonspecific .. still an ultrasound to exclude any rupture of ectopic wud be useful .. so you can go n get a consultation
