What Causes Sinus Bradycardia?

I just got the results from an electrocardiogram that shows I have sinus bradycardia non-specific St and T wave changes. What does this mean?I am in very good health all my blood work came back perfect cholesterol everything. They only found mild plaque because I did an abdominal ultrasound of the aorta to check to see if I had an abdominal aneurysm like my dad had. I was a smoker for many years when I was younger I m 54 and haven t smoked for several years.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Sinus bradycardia means that the heart rate was noted to be lower than normal. The range is 60 to 100 beats/per minute.

If you are very physically active, then this may account for this.

The ST changes may indicate that there are areas of the heart with reduced blood supply.

Reducing risk factors such as high blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol, should be done.

I hope this helps
