What Causes Sinus Pressure And Pain Inspite Of Using Nasal Spray?
I have had sinus pressure and pain with nasal spray being used and a saline rinse. It felt like it went away and now I have a fever of 101. I saw a p.a. and thought it was gone two days ago also. Please try and let me know what might be going on. I m a female 56 years old
Hello, Thank you for asking at HCM. If you have had sinus congestion and pressure got better and now it is back and you have fever also than a possible option is that it might be some infection, we call it bacterial sinusitis. Nasal spray and saline rinse help reduce the swelling of the nose but do not help if there is some infection there. You will need to speak with your medical provider and consider the need for antibiotics. Meanwhile take some pain killers and continue the saline rinse. Hope this answers to your question and is helpful to you
