What Causes Sinusitis Along With Headache And Eye Pain?

I ve been plagued with an acute sinus headache, for about 4 weeks. The doctor put me on a short course of steroids, which helped but then the symptoms returned: sharp pain in temples, around the eyes. When it hurts, I notice that there is no nasal discharge; when the flow returns, the pain goes away. Xray did not show a sinus infection. I get allergy shots, which normally help with mild versions of this, but now don t seem to make a dent in it. I have essential tremor, and the pain makes it much worse. I don t know what that means.
