Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have these small, flat group of bumps (about 3) that have formed where my pubic hair grows. They do not hurt. They are skin toned, not red at all. Not itchy. Don't bother me at all except for the worry that they might be STD. There is no pus, no white head, nothing. What could they be?

General & Family Physician, Dr. Ina Zaimi's Response
Hello dear,
Thank you for your question and welcome to Healthcare Magic. I understand your concern.
From the description you are making, my first impression is that it might be genital warts. Genital warts may look like small, skin toned bumps that might have a cauliflower-like appearance. In many cases, the warts are too small to be visible. As you also may think, genital warts are transmitted by sexual contact. They are one of the most common STD, and are caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV). Since you mention that your lesions aren't causing discomfort, you may not need treatment. However, if you start having symptoms such as itching, burning and pain, or if visible warts are causing emotional distress, your local doctor can help you clear an outbreak with medications or surgery. However, the lesions are likely to come back after treatment.
Hope I helped with my answer. For further concerns or follow up questions, do no hesitate to write again. I will be pleased to answer you again.
Take Care, Dr. Ina
