What Causes Skin Discoloration In Between Breasts And Under Armpits?

I have I guess what you call discoloration in between my breasts.. It makes my skin look dirty but I wash myself everyday and try to rub it off thinking that its maybe dead skin or oil build up. I ve also noticed that the skin under my arm pits and on my neck are also dark. Its all noticeable and really embarrassing. I need help, I haven t seen a doctor in years but I m thinking maybe I should. But until then, any suggestions or ideas of what may be going on?
