Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My son who is 13 was using his laptop for three weeks and developed a rash that turned into irritation. When I took him to the pediatrician to told me that it caused from the laptop use and to discontinue the use of the laptop, which he did, it the discoloration has not disappeared. Since then I looked on the internet and discovered that this is quite serious and the discoloration can be permanent and cause cancer. Its been at least a few month since I noticed this. Is there any treatment for this and do I need to take him to the dermatologist asap to get a treatment for him and check if this caused any cancer to the skin?
