What Causes Skin Discoloration On Legs And Hips Of A Child?
Hi,,,my grandson has an coloring on his legs, hips, I don t see any on his chest,,but, has it on his cheeks on his face as well,,,,I m thinking infection somewhere? We think it could possibly be allergies as well,,,,he felt warm yesterday; but, not today,,,,we gave him allergy meds last night and this morning,,,he is autistic and is taking meds,,,,but, has been on the meds for awhile,,,so; I m ruling those out,,, jan

Certain skin infections may also cause discoloration, such as: Tinea versicolor. This is a fungal skin infection that can cause patches of skin to become lighter or darker.
These patches usually develop slowly and can sometimes merge to form larger patches.
