Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am 70 years old and have been getting flushed on my face. It comes and goes...I feel very hot when it comes. I have had blood pressure readings from 121/78 to 150/88 in the last couple of weeks. Could these flushes be from that? I went through menopause @ 57, and very seldom had any hot flashes. I have celiac, but otherwise am on no medication. Thanks very much!
Hi, I think it is a postmenopausal symptom. You can take some isoflavones after consulting a doctor. It will decrease the hot flushes. Hope it helps. Regards Dr khushboo
