I have a skin infection above my elbow. My doctor says it s an cut infection. It has been a week and after the antibotic (Keflex) and ointment treatment it seems it has not improved. I am worried it could be a MRSA infection. What do I need to know about this?
skin infection due to a cut and if pus is formed,if its nt getting better after the antibiotics given by doctor. The pus is there then examination of the pus can be helpful.it can show if it contains MRSA or some other microorganism that needs proper medicine.refer to the respective doctor and ask for pus examination if possible
