What Causes Skin Peeling From The Jaws?

I wear upper and lower denture and I soak them every night before be and clean them in the morning. My problem is (thin layer of skin that is peeling inside of mouth on each side of jaw and a coated tongue). I brush in the morning and the toothpaste (Fresh'Brite ), helps in taking some away. But it does return. Not a lot but I don't no what is causing this peeling. What can I buy or what kind of medicine can I take. Thanks!

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

As per your complain skin peeling inside the mouth can be due to either rubbing of the denture flanges with mucosa while can be due to excessive keratin formation..
Coated tongue can be due to Yeast infection known as Oral Thrush.

Consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and a clinical evaluation and investigations like microscopic examination of scraping from the tongue can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly..

In case of Thrush you can be advised antifungal medicines like Clotrimazole lozenges, Nystatin mouthwash and Oral Medication like Fluconazole..
Take Probiotics like Yoghurt and Garlic....

Hope this helps..

Regards.
