Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello I m having some peeling in between my vagina area and legs on the inner thigh it s so dry flaky peel easy to rub off I figured it s just dry skin and I noticed I only get it when I have on undies it s like a rubbing Sensation that causes it to change
The material of our clothes may affect the area as it is generally very sensitive so using cotton material for underwear is important. Use of some local betamethasone cream, thin layer twice a day for 7days might help with the peeling as well but please do not use it too long as it might weaken the skin (steroids are not much recommended for long use on the face or genital area).
Even use of emolient creams with not much aroma or color (simple ones) might be helpful as well.
I hope this answers your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Antoneta Zotaj,
General and Family Physician
