What Causes Skin Peeling Under The Nail And Cuticles?
The skin is peeling under my nail and in the cuticles which are very red and sore. Put Neosporin and bandages on, but is not working. I had shellac nails, took them off, then had acrylic nails and some of those just popped off, so I have had nothing on my nails for about two weeks. The ends of my fingers feel strange - like they have been burned. Is this a fungus?

Fungal infection of the nail is a possibility. You can try topical anti-fungals like Clotrimazole also. If lesion persists better to consult a dermatologist and get evaluated.
