What Causes Skin Rashes After Smoking?

For the last two months i have been breaking out with a rash that wikk appear and disappear within hours but it comes right after i smoke and is so intense i cant bear it, it wakes me up out of sleep scratching myself all night. I went to see a dermatologist and had a biopsy performed because i thought it was scabies it itched so bad. The results said that my cells had some fluid in them and ny dermatologist said it sounds like a type of eczema but I wasnt born with that. Can smoking be the cause of this?

Hello There

After going through your medical query I understand your concern and I would like to tell you that eczema has various types and treatment depends on that . It can take time to recover with eczema and you need to consulting a dermatologist regularly for that duration.

Hopefully this information will guide you properly.

Kind Regards
Dr Bhanu Partap
