What Causes Skin Rashes After Taking Dependal Furazolidone And Metronidazole?

my wife took dependalFurazolidone 100mg tab, Metronidazole 300mg. therefater she developed rashes, hair raises,eruptions and itching which occur once in two to three days. first time it occured after 10 days gap. by using citrzine she has some relief but not total.

Hi i do care for your concern.
The drugs you have mentioned have common side effect of developing rashes.
But onset of rashes after 10 days of stopping drug is quiet unusual.
I would advise to
Check for other causes of allergy such as insect bite, exposure to dust etc, and minimize the exposure.
Once allergen is discovered then de-sensitization procedure can be done for long term relief.
