What Causes Skin Rashes On Face While Giving Forcef In Children?

Hello, my baby girl of age 10 months has had cough & I took her to clinic & a doctor prescribed FORSEF for 2 days. But Skin rash seen over her face & itching happened . Then z doctor changed z treatment to syrup. Then after good progress. Is it an allergy that caused skinrashes?

As per your complain skin rashes and itching after taking forcef that is an antibiotic seems to be an allergic reaction to the medicine and due to allergic reaction there has been the above symptoms and as the doctor changed the medicine the symptoms started resolving as well as you got improvement in your infants cough to .
I would suggest you that whenever you go to doctor again for any other problem for your infant always tell about the allergic reaction so that he/she will not prescribe the same to her again to avoid allergic reaction..
