What Causes Skin Sores On The Face, Arms, Legs And Scalp?

I have had skin sores for over two years that are slow healing and appear on my face hands arms legs and scalp. My doctor previously stated that she thinks it s acne. I ve had a really bad dry cough for over a year I get dizzy lightheaded at times. A couple times I have experienced what I guess could be vertigo. My blood pressure is high. I get short of breath fairly easy at times. My skin feels tingly right now. I also have fairly significant pitting edema. I seem to always feel hot and sweaty.

Hi,

You seem to have some skin infection(allergic/bacterial/fungal ) which can produce blood changes (eosinophilia)to cause chronic cough.

Please consult a skin specialist to pinpoint the cause after needful investigations followed by specific treatment. Also, see a chest specialist for treatment of related cough.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Vasudha Jayant Athavale, General & Family Physician
