What Causes Skin Tag On Bottom Right Area After Extracting Wisdom Tooth?
I got my wisdom teeth out today and when I swollow it feels like there's a a little flap of something on my bottom right area. It doesn't hurt more per say (they told me that side would hurt more because those two both where covered in bone) my friend had a similer thing happen and she said her ended up being like a chunk of blood so could it be that or something worse to be worried about?
I have gone through your query and can understand your concern...
As per your complain the skin tag like structure that you are experiencing must be a small part of mucosa that got torn off or is left off from being involved into the stitches which must have been placed after the extraction of the wisdom tooth..
Nothing is to worry as gradually when the healing will proceed it will get attached to the gums in that area or if it is torn mucosa it will get sloughed off..
You should simply follow the instructions given to you by your treating dentist and you will probably heal well..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards.. Dr.Honey Nandwani Arora.
