What Causes Skipped Heart Beats While Suffering From Hyperthyroidism?

my husband has hyper thyroid as been on medication for over 1 year but his heart skips beats it over beats its loud when i sleep on it he as been to cardio doctors and they all saY HIS HEART IS OK but he coughs because its weird feeling it skips and jumps out of is chest thyroid doctor give him pills to take to relax it but it still happens

Hi Mrs XXX! I have gone through your question and I understand your concern.

I would say that it may come from high thyroid hormonal levels.So I suggest to check the thyroid Hormon level ( T4 ,T3, TSH). According to the result your husband may need to change the dosage of the medication he takes for hyperthyroidism. .
Another thing is very important your husband to not take any food or supplement that contains iodine.
Meanwhile measure your husband heart beat while you wait to go to check hormonal level.
