General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

At the age of 65, history of short breath causing difficulties in day to day work and night sweats indicates left ventricular failure most likely. An EKG, X-ray chest with 2D echo of heart including valvular, chamber functioning are mandatory to proceed for the final diagnosis and management guidelines.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
