Dear Doctor: I have been on Oxybutynin 5MG Tab, taken I tab by mouth twice daily. Started on 2010, till present, I have sleep time and or wake up time inconstancy. I have all my reproductive organs, and systems, born 08/24/1954, went through Menopause, in 2005, no noticeable

Hello! Oxybutinin is urinary antispasmodyc agent. tHe drug is used to treat bladder disorders like frequent or/and urgent urination(uninhibited neurogenic bladder, reflex neurogenic bladder , incontinence and increased night frequncy urination. Up to more than 10% of patients it may present somnolence, dry mouth, nausea, constipation, headache, dizziness, asthenia.
Somnolenece is one of the side effects, as i mentioned above, so if this is the sleep disorder you were talking about, we can refer at that as a side effect of the drug. if you have somnolence and increased time sleep during day it may result from a bad quality of sleep during night.
