What Causes Sleepiness Along With Dizzy Spells In An Elderly Person?
My father is 90 years old and has had several falls. After a fall he frequently experiences dizziness. He s had CT scans after falls which do no show any bleeding. He fell 2 days ago, got a bump on the forehead, developed a headache and felt dizzy. He did not want any medical attention. Yesterday and today he has been very sleepy. Still does not want to go to MD. How hard should I push him to go to MD, if at all.

I really appreciate your concern, it is better to watch for the sensorium it is altering then it would be necessary to get him hospitalized else this is nothing to worry, the main concern would be his consciousness, he need to be alert and oriented, hope this information helps
