My husband has been very ill with RA for about 18 years and has been through all the biologics. He hasn t been treated with anything for RA for about 2 yrs. except Hydrocododone. He is in a great deal of pain. Also, he has stomach problems - all GI tests: endoscopy and colonoscopy were inconclusive. He was to do the camera swallow study but in preparation for it, threw up the cleansing liquid. That was about a year ago and no follow ups were made by the GI clinic. Most recently he has been sleeping for days, and not eating. He has been losing weight for years and has lost 20 lbs. in the last few weeks. He is 6 1 and now weighs only 150. He now is presenting with a swollen tongue with a dark stripe just aside of midline. Any suggestions?
