What Causes Sleepiness In A Child While On Guanfacine?
Hi my 8yr old daughter started taking guan facing 1mg that her doctor prescribes for her she has to take it in the morning before school so she can focus in class but instead she falling asleep all the time in class and is starting to stare at stuff what should I do cut her dose in half, or stop using and go back to her doctor so he can recommend something different.....thank you

I really appreciate your concern, Guaifenesin is cough suppressant and it may not cause the drowsiness but the reason behind drowsiness could be something else, and not the Guaifenesin, some time it may be due to anti-histamine if ever given hope this information helps.
