Hello
Welcome to HCM.

I have read your query carefully.
I think as you have just recovered from a medical illness like typhoid, the sleep problem has occured in the process.

I suggest you to take tablet zolpidem 5mg in night.
Once your sleep-wake cycle normalizes, your sleep would be better.

Also, avoid day-time nap, avoid tea, coffee and alcohol, dont listen to heavy music, have adequate exposure to natural day-light and practice relaxation exercises like deep breathing and yoga.

Hope this helps you.
Thanks.
