What Causes Sleeplessness While On Trazadone Instead Of Clonazepam?
I have been prescribed Trazodone 50 mg to take at bedtime to help me sleep. This medication will not allow me to stay asleep. can I quit taking this medication? I have clonazepam 2mg that my doctor told me to quit taking and switch to Trazadone 50 mg. Last night I only slept 3 hours, hoping I can take Clonazepam to get a good nights sleep.

Dear these drugs not the causative for your lack of sleep it may be due to your suffering from Insomnia on drug dependence. So same dose of benzodiazepines won't act more if your developed metabolism of it.
Need to increase the dose or shift to more potent drugs.
Do regular exercise and drink lukr warm milk at night may useful for you.
If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and advice alternate medicine for you.
