What Causes Slight Swelling, Itching And Irritation On Perineum?

I have this irritation on my perineum that s itchy sometimes. It is slightly swollen. the skin is tender, looks like it was tightened with now swollen half inch flaps/bumps but not sores I examined myself and I found this discharge (?) in the fold of my vagina, near my vagina opening. Like two little tiny chunks, not a lot at all and it happens very rarely Is this the discharge they mean with yeast infections? It does burn to pee sometimes and sex is not comfortable.. It is not itchy 24/7 but it can get really itchy at times Do i have a yeast infection? Is that the discharge? I can t go to a doctor so answers would be very settlin

Hello,

I would suggest you to consult your gynecologist for clinical assessment and also to get culture of the vaginal discharge - bacterial and fungal culture to know the cause of infection and thus management.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Shailja Puri
