What Causes Slow Healing Of Wound And Pain In Eyes Post Septoplasty?

I had a septoplasty with polyps removed at beginning of Feb. since then the healing process has been slow and the pain between my eyes is getting worse. I recently got sunburned and started to get more pain between eyes. Now their is a growth (thought was a pimple) between eyes. I also had pressure and air behind my eyes coming out of the nasal into corner of eye before this growth. Has anyone heard of this?

Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hello,

Pressure behind the eyes after a nasal surgery may be due to infectious process. I suggest you to consult your surgeon for clinical assessment. The feeling of pressure may be due to infection in the sinuses. Pimples or acne is an infection of glands in the skin. It is not likely to be due to surgery.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
