What Causes Slow Urination After Laminectomy And Discectomy?
I had a lamenactomy and discactomy 3 months ag(sorry for the spelling) This past week I had some type of flare up. And was in great pain most of the time.i was also having trouble urinating. It feels like i have to go, but it takes a very long time. Sometimes 20-30 mins. Most of the time i am able to go eventually. It seems to be a steady stream, maybe a bit lesser than normal. Today i have yet to urinate. And now my feet and angles are very swollen. Idk if any of this ties together. I have an appointment with my surgeon for a check up on Wednesday. Is this a matter of see how it goes until then? Or is it cause for immediate attention?
Is the pain in your back or in the process of urination and the bladder area , was the pain relieved by passing urine or it was severt when you were passing urine, also what is your age, to start with did you have any problem in urination following your surgery or every thing was fine and its a recent development.
it is advisable that you get a routine urine examination done to rule out an urinary tract infection , also a sonography to rule out bladder infection and a prostatic enlargement.
your problem looks more like it has its origin in the urinary tract rather than the spine
