What Causes Slurred Speech After Cholescintigraphy?
Having horrible stomach pains. Had a hida scan and was left alone in the machine. Started experiencing a horrible reaction with slurred speech. The slurred speech has continued days later. They have not found any reason for the sever pain other than ulcers. I can not eat. Is the slurred speech due to the hida scan?

May i know your age and any significant past medical history. Such scans use contrast drugs which might have caused reaction which is like an allergic reaction but not slurred speech. Any changes in speech may result from nervous system problem for you should undergo CT head to rule out the cause
