Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of slurred speech along with metallic taste in mouth while on Lyrica which can be a side effect of the medicine although it is not a commonly seen side effect.

Need not to worry. I would suggest you to visit general physician once and get complete examination done. If it is due to Lyrica you should get its dose monitored, either lower dosage of ths and change medication with other substitute.

- You can chew flavoured sugarfree chewing gum for improving taste.

- Maintain complete hygiene.

- Do mouth stretching exercises.

- Gargle with flavoured mouthwash.

Hope your concern has been resolved.
